CSIRO Working with CO2

CO2 Group’s Western Australia Resources Limited (WARL), which hopes to raise as much as $1.3 billion to fund the development of 10,000 hectares of shrimp (Penaeus monodon) ponds that could produce 100,000 metric tons of shrimp annually, has entered into an agreement with Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), which will provide research and development services for WARL’s aquaculture projects.

Following its recent acquisition of Seafarm in North Queensland, WARL has become one of the largest shrimp farms in Australia and recently announced that it is changing its name to Seafarms Group Limited.
