BAP Training Course

 

The Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) invites new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training to attend a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Auditor Training Course at the Grand Hotel Guayaquil in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from September 27 to October 3, 2015.

 

The course is also open to industry observers including government officials, farmers and other industry stakeholders who wish to learn more about BAP standards and its auditing process.

 

The course will cover all of the BAP standards:

• Seafood Processing Plant Standard (NEW)

• Finfish and Crustacean Farm Standard (includes land-based aquaculture systems:
ponds and fresh/brackish water cage farms and also marine cage farms)

• Salmon Farm Standard (NEW)

• Mussel Farm Standard

• Feed Mill Standard

• Finfish, Crustacean and Mollusk Hatchery/Nursery Standard (Covers all species)

 

The registration deadline is September 11, 2015.
