Symposium on EMS

 

An early mortality syndrome (EMS) symposium—with Dr. D. Lightner as keynote speaker—will be held in Choluteca, Honduras, on May 18 and 19, 2015.  Organized by Sea Technology, Inc., it will bring together some of the world’s leading researchers on EMS and key industry personnel to discuss the latest controls, diagnostic techniques and methods for preventing EMS/AHPND.  There will be simultaneous translation in English ↔ Spanish.

 

Keynote speeches will be given by:

 

• Dr. Donald Lightner, Department of Veterinary Science and Microbiology, University of Arizona

Dr. Simon Chung GeneReach Biotechnology Corp, Diagnosis and Control of Diseases Using PCR

• Dr. Carlos Giron OIRSA on EMS in the Region

• Dr. Sonia Soto, CIAD Mexico

• Mr. Alvaro Polo on the Use of Probiotics in Aquaculture

• Mr. Isaac Ortiz on His Experience with EMS in Mexico.

 

Registration Fee: $275, add $75 for the special detection workshop.
