Honduras

Resumes Fresh Shrimp Exports to Mexico

The Honduran Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) has signed a ministerial agreement to resume fresh shrimp exports to Mexico.

Earlier in 2013, Honduras stopped fresh shrimp exports to Mexico, fearing that the trucks returning to Honduras might carry early mortality disease (EMS) into the country.  Sanitary measures have been adopted to prevent the entry of EMS.
