Andhra Pradesh—Sudden Drop in Prices

Amjad Khan Pathan (amjadspace@gmail.com) reports: Recently, in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, in just two days, there was a sudden fall of 12% in the price of 30-count-per-kilogram white shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) from $9.13 to $7.99

Is this because international demand has decreased or because exporters are taking less shrimp to force prices down?  I think local exporters want to establish lower prices for their Christmas orders.   They want to buy cheap now and export at higher price later.
