Kerala—Training Program for Shrimp Farmers

 

On October 25, 2014, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies will conduct a training program for shrimp farmers at its Fisheries Station in Puduveypu.  It will focus on eco-friendly farming practices, disease surveillance/diagnosis and the potential of white shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) farming in the state of Kerala.  There will be tours of ponds, hatcheries, a mangrove nursery and the Fisheries Station in Puduveypu.
