Seminar on Genetics and Sustainability

 

   

 

The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture (RGCA), the research and development arm of the Marine Products Export Development Authority, has organizing a one day seminar titled “Genetics and Sustainable Aquaculture 2015” for August 10, 2015, at the Hotel Green Park in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

 

Dr. Roger W. Doyle, President, Gene Computation Limited (Canada), one of the most respected aquaculture geneticist in the world, will present the keynote address, and there will also be presentations by Dr. Shaun Moss, Executive Director, Oceanic Institute Hawaii, Dr. Dustin Moss, a geneticist, with the Oceanic Institute’s Penaeus vannamei breeding program, and Dr. Lind Curtis, a geneticist with WorldFish, Malaysia, who is involved the RGCA- selective breeding program.
