CP Prima Finds Antidote for IMNV

CP Prima, a huge shrimp farm on the east coast of the island of Sumatra, said that it has discovered a formula that is expected to be an antidote for the infectious myonecrosis virus (IMNV).    Achmad Wahyudi, Vice President of Aquaculture Programs for CP Prima, said experiments in 2013 proved the virus could be controlled.  George Basoeki, Head of Corporate Communication, said the virus hit shrimp farms in Brazil in 2004 and farms in Indonesia in 2006.
