LIR Biotech Runs EMS Tests, Job Offer

 

LIR BioTech, a biotechnology company that provides detection solutions to industries, scientists, laboratories and universities, will test your shrimp for acute hepatopancreatic necrosis syndrome (AHPNS), more commonly called early mortality syndrome (EMS), using a PCR test that detects the virulent strain of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.

 

 

Suitable specimens for the test include:

 

• Postlarvae

• Fresh or Live Feed (Artemia, Oysters, Bloodworms, Squid)

• Hepatopancreas

• Fecal Sample (pond, tank or intestine)

• Pond or Tank Water
