Dear Colleagues, I am very proud to announce that we have recently started and operation in Phuket, Thailand, to produce nauplii using broodstock from our genetic program MEGALARVA.  These animals, which originated in Panama, are General Pathogen Resistant (GPR) and Specific Pathogen Free (SPF).

Two of our hatcheries (Mexico and Panama) have been approved for broodstock shipments to Thailand, and we have already complete four shipments.  Upon arrival in Thailand, all animals were quarantined and tested for five diseases.  They all tested negative, were released from quarantine are are now in production!

Nauplii have been distributed and the first PLs are now being stocked in Thai farms.  We will soon have the first results.  We hope they perform as well as they performed in Mexico during the WSV and EMS crises of 2013-2015 and during the in EMS epizootic in Central America in 2015.
