CPF Still Losing Money

According to a report by Bualuang Securities, a brokerage company in Thailand, Charoen Pokphand Foods’ shrimp farming division unit will post a $27.6 million operating loss for the fourth quarter of 2014, shallower by 22% year-on-year, but seasonally deeper by 99% quarter-on-quarter.  “The shrimp unit recovery is proving weaker than we had earlier anticipated,” the brokerage noted.  It expects stronger numbers for the division in the second half of 2015.
