New PCR Test for AHPND

Professor Tim Flegel reports: We have just announced today at the NACA website a new, free nested PCR detection method called “AP4” for AHPND bacteria.

The new method is about 100 times more sensitive than the previous AP3 method but has the same accuracy.

Shrimp News: I’ve added a thorough scientific description of the test to my Special Reports Page.     Click here for the full report.
