In Thailand shrimp prices are still on the rise, but the pace of the increase has slowed down over the last month.  In terms of production, Thailand is still not recovering.  Production from January to October 2013 is down 47% from the same period in 2010, when Thailand produced close to 600,000 metric tons.  I don’t think production will exceed 320,000 metric tons this year.  Compared to 2011, production is down 39% and compared to 2012, it’s 31% down.
