Georgia—Video—Restaurant Adds a Buck to All Shrimp Dishes

This minute-and-a-half video (preceded by a 15-second advertisement) is a TV news report from “13WMAZ” in Macon, Georgia.  It begins with restaurant customers talking about what they like about shrimp and then shifts to talk about the rise in shrimp prices.

“Shrimp was $80 or $90 a case and now it’s upwards of a $150 a case,” said restaurant manager Chad Brown, who now buys eight cases a week instead of ten.  He has raised the price of all his shrimp dishes by one dollar.
