Missouri/Arizona—Chamberlain and Lightner Live on EMS


The Global Aquaculture Alliance has organized a free, one-hour webinar titled “Early Mortality Syndrome: Managing the Perfect Killer”.  It will feature GAA President Dr. George Chamberlain and the University of Arizona’s Dr. Donald Lightner and take place live on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at 10 a.m. Indochina Time (ICT).  Their 30-minute presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session.  You cam submit questions to GAA’s Steven Hedlund (, but make sure you email them to him by Monday, December 9, 2013.  Sponsored by, the webinar will focus on how to better understand and manage EMS and its impact on shrimp supplies.  It will be recorded and available to all registrants after Tuesday, December 10, 2013.

After you register, a Global Aquaculture Alliance window will open confirming your registration and asking you if you would like to add the event to your calendar.  At the bottom of that window, you’ll see a link labeled “Participant Test”.  Click on it to make sure your computer has the right software for joining the webinar. Then you will receive an email from GAA's Steven Hedlund telling you exactly how to join the webinar.
