Alabama 376,700 pounds from 142 acres

Florida 423,410 pounds from 112 acres

Texas 2,989,725 pounds from 1,020.1 acres

 

USA mainland total production in 2015, 3,789,835 pounds from 1,274.1 acres.

 

Notes: The above data does not include Florida-Fresh Shrimp in Indiantown, Florida, RDM Aquaculture in Indiana, shrimp farms in Hawaii or small, indoor shrimp farms in the continental United States or its territories.  In 2015, most shrimp farms complained about size disparity in PLs from Shrimp Improvement Systems.
