Texas—NaturalShrimp, Now a Public Company

Shrimp News: An attorney with an interest in shrimp farming contacted me and provided this explanation to the recent information that I posted on NaturalShrimp.  Also see: http://biz.yahoo.com/e/150211/mydr8-k.html.

“What Natural Shrimp did is called “buying a shell”.  It is a fast way to take a company public.  They buy a company that is already a public company, but which no longer has any assets or does any business (it may never have had any assets or done any business, called a ‘clean shell’).  Then they sell their own assets to the new shell public company they bought.  Presto, chango, they’ve got a public company for their shrimp company.  They change the name of the public company, and then they can sell stock on the stock exchanges.”
