Antibiotic Warning from the European Union

The European Union has issued a warning to 19 Vietnamese seafood exporters about excessive antibiotic residues in their products—including shrimp.

Vietnam has until January 9, 2015, to provide a reasonable explanation for what caused the antibiotic residues, along with measures on how to control them.  If it fails, the European Union will impose a ban on its seafood!
