Dong Nai Province—Big New Project

On January 20, 2016, Vo Van Chanh, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, had a working session with Vietnam’s Department of Science and Technology to discuss the development of a big, new, hi-tech shrimp farming complex in the Nhon Trach District of Dong Nai Province.

The shrimp farming complex will use advanced technology and cover 480 hectares in Phuoc An Commune.  The cost of acquiring the site will be approximately $40.6 million.  The first 200 hectares be developed for ecological tourism and shrimp farming.  That model will then be expanded to establish the rest of the project.
